Founder and CEO

Callum is the founder and managing director of Tempus International.

His role is still very much hands-on, as the current director of recruitment he overseas all permanent and locum recruitment across the UK and USA.

Callum started his career in 2015 and founded Tempus International just 3 years later. Callum fell into recruitment after he left university where he was studying to be a teacher.

As CEO Callum’s role is managing the overall operations and resources of a company.

The favourite part of Callum’s job is the people “I have clients I have known since I got in the industry and candidates that still send me Christmas cards” Recruitment is a people business and we want to be the best.

In his spare time, he walks his dog Eddie (can be seen all over Instagram) and spends time with his wife. He also loves to play golf and rugby when he can.

Gerry joined Tempus International in July 2020 as part of the USA team, having spent 8 years previously working within the HR industry across numerous sectors. Having a friendly and helpful approach, Gerry has been able to connect with a variety of candidates and clients since joining and is always happy to talk about how Tempus can help with your plans for the future.

Gerry has quickly progressed through the company and is now the manager of the USA Veterinary Recruitment Desk.

When asked what drew Gerry to make the switch to recruitment, he said: Having a passion for helping people has always been a strength of mine, so working with both clients and candidates to find the perfect match is a feeling unlike no other. It brings me great pleasure knowing I have helped a candidate secure their dream job, and a client finds their next superstar!

Abby joined Tempus Recruitment in February 2022 to work on our USA Recruitment team. She previously worked as an English teacher working in China where she lived for several years with her husband. Before that Abby studied English language and linguistics at the University of Essex where she grated with a First Class honours degree.

We are very lucky and pleased that Abby joined Tempus as she is a ball of energy and always has a smile on her face. Her personality is infectious and always brings a positive energy to the office and every client and candidate she speaks to instantly takes a shine to her.

She has a huge passion for travelling and exploring new cultures which is evident by the fact she has already visited 25 countries and she’s only 26 years old!

In addition to being well-travelled, Abby is also married to an American so she is an expert in all things “USA” which comes in handy from time to time.

In her spare time, she is continuing to learn Mandarin Chinese and loves taking her little dog Lulu out on adventures.

Stacey joined the USA Tempus Recruitment team in April 2022. She previously worked as an HR Business Partner within an in-house recruitment team for 2 years before taking the leap into recruiting veterinarians across the USA (and we’re so pleased she did!). Stacey has bought energy into the office that we didn’t even know we were missing! She has a bubbly personality like no other and has already taken part in vet shows in the USA where both clients and candidates have instantly connected with her.

When asked why she made the decision to move into the Veterinary sector she said ‘I felt like I needed a change in my career, and I have never worked in agency recruitment before and the challenge excited me! The fact that it was veterinarians in America made it even better! I have always had a love for animals so talking to veterinarians whose job it is to look after animals day in and day out meant I could merge my love for animals with my job and speak to like-minded people.

Stacey has a little fur baby of her own called ‘Bear’ who is a 2-year-old Cockerpoo; she enjoys taking him on adventures with her fiancé and finding new hidden places to explore! However, with this comes to a lot of dog baths because one of Bear’s favourite things is mud and water!

Sam joined Tempus Recruitment in May 2021 having previously worked in the hospitality industry. Like many people, Sam left school and started working in hospitality however, after having a child he realised that he was looking for more of a career and fell into recruitment.

After a few months, it was clear that Sam was made for recruitment, he is likeable, friendly and full of energy. We asked Sam what he loves about working at Tempus and he said ” I like working for Tempus because no day is ever the same, I am presented with new challenges every single day. Tempus has also allowed me to grow and learn a completely new set of skills that I now use day-to-day”

Outside of work Sam enjoys playing the drums, cooking and spending time with his daughter

Tim joined Tempus Recruitment in May 2022. After graduating in English Literature at Bristol university, Tim worked within the maintenance services industry and took some time out to travel. After coming back to work within the same industry, he decided to make the change to agency recruitment as this was something he’d always had a keen interest in.

Since joining the company, Tim has said ‘helping people find their perfect career is incredibly rewarding’ so we know he’s made the right career choice! With his quick wit and humorous personality, Tim has been a great addition to the team! It didn’t take him long to find his feet within the industry either, as he has already built strong working relationships with clients and candidates and is looking to have a fantastic career ahead!

Outside of work, Tim enjoys socialising and always seems to fill his time! Whether this involves football, eating out and spending time with his girlfriend and their pooch, Bobby, he enjoys getting out and about.
