The Hospital:

Are you interested in working at a fun, collaborative emergency/specialty practice that focuses on providing high standards of care as well invested in practice culture and mission? This hospital is in search of a Cardiologist who can work alongside other specialists to support their mission for a team-based approach to specialty veterinary care. Third year Cardiology residents are welcome to apply.
The hospital is a VECCS Level 1 facility encompassing 18,000 sq ft (with plans for upcoming new hospital build) that currently offers 24 hour emergency in addition to Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, Nutrition, Anesthesiology and Critical Care. In addition, within the hospital exists CARE, a complementary rehabilitation and pain management center. Attached to the hospital is an IDEXX reference laboratory, which enables accurate test results with a fast turnaround time for hospitalized patients. The Cardiology Service is equipped to provide the highest standards of care and evidence-based medicine. A newly outfitted Cardiology Suite encompasses a large work space, flat-screen TV, GE Vivid ultrasound and Dextronix 12 lead ECG.
Do you enjoy teaching? Great! They also host an ER Immersion Program for new veterinary school grads interested in ER – a program in which all specialists are involved. They also host an internship program with an 88% success rate on matching interns with residencies.
