 The Role

• 4 Day Work Week

This corporately owned Hospital is looking for an RVN who is passionate about anaesthesia and analgesia to join their surgical team.

Your role will be working closely alongside our surgeons, monitoring anaesthesia in a wide range of interesting challenging cases alongside routine procedures. As well as that, you will also be maintaining high perioperative protocols to ensure patients receive the best care possible and you will also be maintaining surgical equipment and instruments to ensure efficient running of theatres.

The surgical nursing team also will complete 1 week of imaging – this rotation will be monitoring patients having advanced imaging performed.

As a surgical RVN, you will also be overseeing the PCA’s and SVNs to provide guidance and coaching. You will also liaise with the Head Veterinary Nurse and Veterinary Surgeons to ensure best and effective running of the practice.

The ideal candidate would be someone that is organised, enthusiastic and has the ability to work as apart of a team.

This hospital has recently undergone a full internal refurbishment and have excellent facilities, such as digital x-ray, ultrasound, in house lab, endoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy, multi-parameter monitors and CT.

They can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
