This corporately owned group is looking for new veterinary surgeon to join their team.
This group practices are mainly small animal, but see some exotics also (reptiles, birds, ferrets). Their main branch has: 2 operating theatres, cat ward, dog ward, isolation ward, 4 consultation rooms, digital x-rays, and ultrasound scanner. They are constantly expanding and improving our facilities. For the first few months, you would work alongside our head vet a. The head vet is a very skilled surgeon and is currently doing an advanced certificate in small animal surgery.
You would be working an average of 40 hours per week. Initially this would only be day shifts. Eventually there may be some weekend work. Once you have gained a lot more experience, there may also be some night shifts involved, but this would only be when you are ready and confident.
They have a good support system. At their main branch, there is normally 3-4 vets on each day, as well as multiple nurses, nursing assistants, receptionists, and managers. The support staff are all very knowledgeable and help support our new vets. We are a very close, friendly team.

They perform a wide range of surgeries, such as: neutering, lumpectomies, c-sections, airway surgery, eye surgeries, exploratory laparotomies, urethrostomies, and more. We also work closely with an orthopaedic vet, who visits us regularly for various orthopaedic surgeries.
