Details of the Practice and the Role

I am working with a fantastic corporately owned hospital based in North London that is looking for an surgical vet to join their surgical team.
The ideal candidate will be a strong leader who is interested in partnership and taking control of their own caseload, and will be coming into a 12 vet hospital with a range of very experienced colleagues
This role is an opportunity to seriously increase your earnings, be your own boss and shape the future of the practice alongside the other partners. This role is for a 4 day week with 1 in 6 Weekends, for a salary of between £80,000 – £95,000 Depending on Experience.
The hospital offers a relocation allowances should you move more than 50 miles from your current home address and can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
Skill and Requirements:
You must have a surgical certificate or higher.
You need to have extensive experience in small animal surgery, including ability to perform TPLO/TTAs or equivalent, fracture repair and complex soft tissue surgery (eg. perineal urethrostomy, TECA, BOAS, thoracotomy)
You’ll will also have the willingness to mentor keen surgeons within the practice, and while this is not a consulting role, clear and empathic client communication is essential.

Equipment on site:
This hospital houses an MRI/CT unit and so treats many interesting neurology, medicine, surgical and other cases. Additionally, is equipped with endoscopy, arthroscopy, digital x-ray, MiLab X7 ultrasound, multi-parameter monitors, in-house bloods, dental radiology and much more! The group is also supported by its own pet blood bank, laboratory as well as other services and also has a spacious garden, separate cat and dog wards, two dedicated staff rooms.
