About the Practice/Location

Our client is a corporately owned, first opinion practice who are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in Glamorgan on a full or part time basis, with flexible working hours available.

The practice is based in Caerphilly, conveniently located less than 10 miles from Cardiff.

The owner is passionate about Orthopaedic surgery and is studying the General Practitioner Advanced Certificate (GPAdvCert) in Small Animal Orthopaedic Surgery, as well as investing in the specialist equipment required to really excel in this area.

The practice also offer Stem Cells therapy protocol, which is fully performed within the surgery premises the same day, providing regenerative medicine as well as state of the art equipment including; Ultrasonic scanner with colour Doppler, Multiwave locked therapeutic laser system, digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

The ideal candidate will have good general surgical and medical skills and have experience in emergency surgery. You will ideally be confident in a sole charge role and enjoy the variety provided by their clients and colleagues.
