About the Practice/Location

Our client is a corporately owned, first opinion practice, who are looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in Dorset.

The practice is based in Weymouth, located near the beach, with local take-a-ways, parking facilities and public transport links nearby.

The practice is well-equipped with all the necessary equipment including endoscope, Idexx in-house laboratory, tonometry & im3 dental radiography unit. The supportive team consists of 5 Vets (one Advanced Practitioner in Medicine) and 5 RVNs.

As an RCVS Nurse Training accredited practice, they work together and support each other with cases. They participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings, to improve patient care and promote team well-being.

The ideal candidate would be confident in general practice, routine surgeries and sole charge. However, the practice is also open to candidates that have some experience but are open to improving their skills. They see an interesting and varied caseload, so encourage and fund certificates to study if desired. Part time or flexible working hours will also be considered, for the right candidate.
