About the Practice/Location

Our client is a corporately owned, small animal, first opinion practice, who is looking for a friendly Head Veterinary Nurse to join their team in North London.

The practice is located in Friern Barnet, close to public transport routes and is surrounded by retail and coffee shops, as well as having parking facilities.

Their spacious surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including full in-house lab, ultrasound facilities, digital xray, and species specific kennel areas. The practice has a team that comprises of 2 Vets, 1 RVN, 1 VCA, 1 Practice Manager and 2 Receptionists.

Their team all share a love of pets and a common goal of providing the highest standards of healthcare for patients and clients alike, as well as providing a supportive working environment to each of their colleagues.

The ideal candidate will be a nurse who is happy to lead by example, has great communication skills and is looking to work with a positive and passionate team. You will need to be confident with all general nursing duties including the running of nurse clinics and ideally have experience of and enjoy coaching and mentoring student nurses.
