About the Practice/Location
Our client is a corporately owned first opinion practice and is looking for a full or part time Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team in Wiltshire.
The practice is based in Amesbury which can be easily accessed from the A303.
The practice is ISFM cat-friendly and has 4 consulting rooms which includes cat-only and bereavement. They have separate cat, dog and isolation wards, which offers fantastic facilities and equipment including K-Laser, in-house lab machines, multi-parameter machine and syringe driver.
The ideal candidate will have been qualified for at least 5 years and have experience with team leadership to assist their head nurse in supporting the nursing team. Their nurses are fully utilised and deliver nurse clinics including dermatology, antenatal, diabetes and senior pet consults as well as the opportunity to develop their schedule 3 skills with a dedicated nurse ops list. With a wide and varied caseload, including supporting visiting cardiology, ophthalmology, and orthopaedic specialists, they can offer a position that guarantees job satisfaction and career development.
This position will suit an experienced and knowledgeable RVN with high standards and a desire to pursue further learning and leadership opportunities. They are looking for an outgoing, positive, and articulate individual who is a team player with excellent nursing, communication and organisational skills and a good sense of humour.
