This corporately owned, 1st opinion practice is looking for a Small Animal Vet on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate would be confident in all aspects of general practice and routine surgeries, and be confident in sole charge, but the practice is able to offer support to candidates that aren’t completely confident to do so. This practice is a busy, 9-Vet, mixed practice. In this branch, they cater for large and small animals, and host out-of-hours provider.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic small animal Vet. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person looking to further their career. This practice can offer varied first opinion caseload, mostly cats, dogs, and rabbits. They do 15-minute appointments for routine things, 30 minutes for euthanasia’s/ blood sampling etc. The last consulting appointment is 5.30pm.

There are opportunities to consult and operate equally shared between the team. There is support of an experienced and friendly team of Vets. Most of them have been with the practice for 4 years plus. They have a really strong team ethos with an active social committee. They organise everything from cinema outings to zip-lining, to stand-up paddle boarding!

They have OOH providers in-house, so no need to transfer patients from day practice to another site. This gives everyone a good case continuity and can have an excellent working relationship with our OOH team.
