The Client
This hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team. They are part of a group of hospitals working to rethink the future of veterinary medicine. You will be joining a network of like-minded associates, supported by an all-star team and have access to their latest digital tools. Their GP small animal hospital is AAHA accredited and practices gold-standard medicine. They offer routine and medical concern exams, general vaccinations, in-house laboratories (CBC, chemistry, HWT, FeLV/FIV tests, UA, etc.), advanced and routine send-out diagnostics through Antech, domestic and international health certification, onsite ultrasound, digital radiographs, and PennHIP certification. They also work with two board-certified radiologists for more advanced ultrasound diagnostics/procedures (Abdominal/Thoracic ultrasounds and echocardiograms). Their hospital offers surgical procedures such OHE, neuter, gastropexy, cystotomy, splenectomy, foreign body removal, and more. Their dental services are always performed under gas anesthesia and include: ultrasonic cleaning/polishing, full-mouth digital radiographs, complete dental charting, +/- bonding and extractions. For more advanced dental procedures, they partner with a board-certified small animal dentists to complete these cases in hospital. Onsite they also have a fully-diagnostic ultrasound, oxygen cage, two dental tables, two surgery suites, and a Bovie cautery unit. This position is full-time with approximately four 10 hour shifts a week. They are open Monday-Thursday 8am–6pm, Friday 8am – 8pm, and Saturday 8am–6 pm.
