This corporately owned, 1st opinion practice based in Brighton are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join this hospital team working of over 20 vets!

The role at this is based at our main 24-hour hospital, working as part of the day team, joining the weekly rotation of ward, surgical and consulting shifts, that are shared amongst the hospital team. The caseload will be varied, with both emergency and advanced medical cases referred from their 5 branch practices and other local practices that they support.

The purpose-built hospital has a range of high-technical equipment including ultrasound, digital x-ray, laparoscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopy, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. They also have dedicated cat, dog, exotic, isolation, and day procedure wards, with a fantastic nurse and support team to work alongside.

The team has multiple certificate holders and colleagues with a huge range of clinical interests and expertise, including referral services for orthopaedics, ophthalmology, advanced imaging, and exotics. They also run an OOH team alongside our day team at the hospital and are committed to continuing the further development of our team members through dedicated in-house and external CPD.

They can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
