The Practice: Our client is a 24/7/365 small animal emergency and referral practice in Long Beach, California. Located in the heart of Long Beach, California our client serves as the first and only 24/7 Emergency and Urgent Care facility. They serve as a port for a large referral base, fostering long term collaborative relationships with their DVMs. Their team consists of highly trained clinical members (well-trained in ICU/Critical Care, surgical procedures, and anesthesia) and Client Service Representatives to support you. The practice is well equipped, including digital radiology, ultrasonography, full diagnostic laboratory on-site, CT, and endoscopy.

The Ideal Candidate:
• Strong interest in emergency medicine
• Interested in a team approach to ER medicine
• Ability to multi-task

The Home: The hospital is a little more than a mile away from the alluring SoCal beaches. The Long Beach area is best known for its urban waterfront attractions-such as the Queen Mary and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Role Requirements 

  • Full-Time (3.5 or 4 days) with a flexible weekend rota offered
  • Must be proficient in small animal general practice surgeries and medicine
  • Compassionate and and Strong Communicator
  • At least 1 year of experience (Open to New Grads)
  • DVM
